Ponte Della Valle 1734
Fully Catered Luxury Ski Chalet | Italian Alps | Sleeps 8–10
Ponte Della Valle 1734 is a fully catered luxury ski chalet in
Balmuccia, Valsesia, in the Italian Alps. A painstakingly restored
18th-century water mill, the property offers 2,700 sq ft of
beautifully renovated living space sleeping 8–10 guests on an
exclusive use basis, from €3,900 per week.
THE SKIING
Just 9 minutes from the Alpe di Mera chairlifts and close to the world-class terrain of Alagna, guests have
access to the full 180km Monterosa ski area on a single pass —
covering Alagna, Gressoney, and Champoluc at altitudes up to
3,000m. A dedicated private shuttle runs directly to the
chairlifts every morning.
THE CATERING
Catering is provided by a professional in-house private chef,
with a daily 3-course evening meal served with complimentary
wine and coffee. Breakfast provisions are stocked on arrival.
The spacious open-plan kitchen with large central island is
also fully available for guests to use throughout the stay.
THE PROPERTY
The principal floor stretches to 1,700 sq ft and features a
log fire, a traditional stuffa stove, and a conservatory with
year-round mountain views. The property sits on the banks of
the Sermenza River with its own private lake — accessible
only from the garden — making it equally spectacular as a
summer mountain retreat.
